Renowned journalist Sardar Kashmir Singh Chawla, fondly known as KS Chawla, was cremated today in Ludhiana with full respect and heartfelt tributes. He passed away on Wednesday following a brief illness, leaving behind a rich legacy in journalism and public life.
His final journey began from his residence in Rajguru Nagar and culminated at the Cremation Ground in Model Town Extension, where his mortal remains were consigned to flames. Emotional scenes unfolded as family members, close friends, fellow journalists, and admirers from various walks of life came together to bid a tearful goodbye.
A veteran in the field of journalism, KS Chawla was respected for his fearless reporting, deep insight, and unwavering commitment to truth.
The Bhog and Antim Ardas to honor his memory will be held on Sunday, June 29, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Gurdwara E-Block, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, Ludhiana.
