The race for a place in the ‘Bigg Boss 20’ house is heating up, with contenders Love Gill and Rhiya Ahir competing for a single entry through the show’s special segment ‘Fans Ka Faisla’.
Under the fan-driven format, viewers will decide which of the two contenders receives the ‘Extra Jeevan Daan’ and earns a place in the reality show. The makers unveiled the promo on Instagram on Tuesday and urged viewers to cast their votes through the JioHotstar app. Voting will remain open until September 2 at 11:59 p.m.
Gill said having viewers directly decide his entry would make the opportunity particularly meaningful.
“To have my entry into the house decided directly by the viewers is the ultimate ‘Extra Jeevan Daan’ for my journey before the show even kicks off,” he said, adding that he intends to bring an unfiltered personality and “Punjabi grit” to the competition.
Gill also appealed to viewers to support him if they want a contestant who will play with complete honesty and commitment from the outset.
Ahir, meanwhile, said she was excited about the prospect of entering the house through audience votes. She described the format as fitting the season’s ‘Tathas-two’ theme, which she said represents higher stakes and uncompromising competition.
“I’m not someone who backs down under pressure or sugar-coats the truth. I’m coming in with sharp instincts, clear opinions, and a drive to compete at full force,” Ahir said.
She added that the audience holds the power to grant the coveted entry and expressed confidence that viewers would recognise her competitive spirit.
Gill and Ahir are competing for the lone spot, with the winner to be determined entirely through audience voting. The result will be announced during the grand premiere on September 6, when host Salman Khan will welcome the audience’s choice into the ‘Bigg Boss 20’ house.
