A woman has approached the Pirbahore police station in Patna seeking protection and alleging harassment and threats, with her complaint naming educator Khan Sir.
In her statement to the police, the woman alleged that her former roommate, Sabina Khatoon, was in a relationship with Khan Sir. She claimed that he frequently visited their room in 2017 despite her objections and that the situation continued for around six months, resulting in repeated arguments and police intervention.
The complainant further alleged that attempts were made to harm her. According to her statement, a police officer from her family intervened and reprimanded Khan Sir, following which he apologised and stopped troubling her for some time.
She alleged, however, that he continued to make inquiries about her whereabouts and place of residence.
The woman also claimed that calls were made to her relatives, with callers on some occasions allegedly identifying themselves as personnel from Sultanganj police station.
Seeking protection, she told police that she feared for her safety because she claimed to possess information concerning Khan Sir. Her complaint includes allegations of serious criminal activity, including a claim about involvement in the killing of Roshan’s brother. These allegations are the complainant’s claims and have not been independently verified.
The complainant also alleged that Faizan Khan had taken Rs 4,500 belonging to her and questioned Khan Sir’s public image of helping economically weaker people in light of the alleged incident.
She said she had formally submitted the complaint at Pirbahore police station and that police officials assured her of protection. She was reportedly provided with a contact number and advised to immediately contact the police station if she encountered any problem.
Police officials said the allegations made in the complaint would have to be verified as part of the investigation.
