Bollywood superstar Salman Khan confronted Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer over his “lollipop” remark aimed at actress Kanika Mann, questioning why he continued trying to justify the comment instead of offering a straightforward apology.
A new promo for the upcoming “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode was shared on social media by the channel, offering a glimpse of the exchange between Salman, Qazi and Kanika.
In the promo, Salman tells Qazi that once his comment had been perceived as inappropriate, he should have stepped back instead of repeatedly trying to explain himself.
“Qazi, jab aapka intentions kisi ko galat laga you should’ve just backed out. Lekin aap lage rahe nonstop like a stuck record,” Salman says.
Salman then asks Kanika whether Qazi had apologised to her. Kanika responds that Qazi had become “too full of himself”.
Qazi interjects, saying that he had attempted to apologise.
Salman, however, points out that he had not seen Qazi offer a clear apology, recalling Qazi’s earlier statement that he would “take a bullet” rather than say sorry.
Qazi then says that he had apologised to Kanika jokingly, prompting Salman to question the explanation.
“Aapne kisiko suna hai mazaak mazaak mein sorry bolte huye life mein?” Salman asks.
The exchange comes ahead of the latest “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode of Bigg Boss 20, the 20th season of the reality show, which premiered on September 6.
The season features 16 celebrity contestants, including MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Kushal Tanwar, Aman Gandhi, Arishfa Khan, Qazi Touqeer, Asif Khan, Aamrapali Dubey, Uditi Singh, Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOP, Yung DSA and Love Gill.
