Actress Parineeti Chopra joined the viral 80s trend on Instagram with her politician husband Raghav Chadha, while playfully wondering why the couple could not have met at the time they were born.
Sharing the AI-generated photos on Instagram, Parineeti wrote, “80s babies, in the 80s baby! (Why couldn’t we have met the moment we were born? Need to discuss @raghavchadha88)”.
The couple embraced the popular retro trend in colourful 80s-inspired outfits. In the opening AI-created image, Parineeti and Raghav were seen enjoying cotton candy, followed by a picture of the actress relaxing on a bed with a magazine.
The album also featured romantic moments between the two, including Parineeti placing her hand affectionately on Raghav’s shoulders and Raghav resting his head on her lap.
Revisiting the nostalgia of the era, another image showed the couple playing a video game, while the final picture featured Parineeti touching up her makeup.
Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24, 2023, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. The couple embraced parenthood on October 19 last year with the birth of their son, Neer.
On the professional front, Parineeti is set to make her OTT debut with Shaque: Trust No One. Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra and directed by Rensil D’Silva, the series also stars Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Dhruv Chowdhary and Sumeet Vyas, among others.
Speaking about the show, Siddharth P. Malhotra said he was immediately drawn to the story when D’Silva narrated it to him. He described Shaque: Trust No One as a relentless, nerve-wracking and emotional series with a fast-paced narrative.
