Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a candid and emotional moment with his brother Sohail Khan during his appearance on the streaming reality show Alliance, with a clip from the episode going viral on social media.
In one of the show’s promos, Salman is seen teasing Sohail by asking whether he was still listening to his former wife, Seema Sajdeh. While making the remark, Salman also praised his younger brother for the way he had handled difficult situations in his personal life.
“My dear brother took all the blame on himself. As a brother, I know how much he has tried. I know what we’ve seen. He kept taking it all in emotionally,” Salman said during the conversation.
Responding to Salman, Sohail admitted, “I freaked out today,” prompting the superstar to ask him if he had indeed lost his composure.
In another segment of the episode, Salman opened up about his time in Jodhpur Central Jail, recalling the difficult conditions he experienced during his incarceration. Speaking to contestants, he described the overcrowded barracks and basic prison facilities during his stay.
Salman spent time in Jodhpur Central Jail on multiple occasions between 1998 and 2018 in connection with the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases.
The blackbuck case stems from the alleged hunting of two endangered blackbucks during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain near Jodhpur in October 1998. The incident drew strong protests from the Bishnoi community, which regards the blackbuck as sacred.
The case has also led to repeated threats against the actor from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
