Actress Kajol shared a heartfelt Parents’ Day tribute to her parents and parents-in-law, expressing gratitude for their love, sacrifices and the values they passed on to her.
The ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actress shared rare monochrome pictures of her family on social media, featuring her parents — actress Tanuja and filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee — along with her in-laws, actor-filmmaker Veeru Devgan and producer Veena Devgan.
Reflecting on the responsibilities of parenthood, Kajol said becoming a parent helps people understand the depth of love and sacrifices made by their own parents.
“We are all parents now and the sheer responsibility of being a parent is something that you truly don’t understand till it happens to you. You never know how much your parents love you and have sacrificed for you till it happens to you,” she wrote.
The actress added that she feels blessed to have received so much love from her family and dedicated the post as a gesture of gratitude to all her parents.
One of the shared pictures featured a young Kajol posing with her parents and sister Tanishaa Mukerji. Another image showed her in-laws, Veeru Devgan and Veena Devgan.
National Parents’ Day 2026 was observed on Sunday, July 26, celebrating the contribution, care and sacrifices of parents in shaping families and society.
On the professional front, Kajol was last seen in the mythological horror-thriller film ‘Maa’, directed by Vishal Furia, where she played the lead role.
