Actor Govinda’s marital controversy has taken another turn after his wife Sunita Ahuja revealed in a conversation with actor Rakhi Sawant that she withdrew her divorce petition because, according to her, Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar were planning to marry.
The conversation took place after Sunita withdrew the divorce petition. Rakhi, while speaking to paparazzi in Mumbai, called Sunita and put the conversation on speaker, allowing those present to hear her side of the matter.
Sunita said she had remained silent for some time and suggested that people should speak in her support because they were aware of the situation. She also referred to another woman allegedly being given her place.
During the conversation, Sunita explained why she had withdrawn the divorce case.
“Maine kal divorce case wapas le liya kyunki woh shaadi karne ke plan me the woh log,” she said, meaning that she withdrew the case because, according to her, the two were planning to get married.
Rakhi expressed her support for Sunita and said she believed withdrawing the case was the right decision.
The conversation then turned to financial matters, with Rakhi advising Sunita to focus on protecting her financial interests. She specifically referred to Rs 200 crore and urged Sunita to ensure that her assets were secured in her own name.
“Aap ₹200 crore par dhyaan do. Sab chhodo. Doosri-teesri koi aa gayi na, sab hadap legi. Aap pehle apne naam sab kuch kar lo please, meherbaani,” Rakhi said.
Sunita’s comments have added another layer to the ongoing public discussion surrounding her relationship with Govinda. The claims regarding Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar’s alleged marriage plans were made by Sunita during the conversation and have not been independently verified.
