Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reflected on his demanding work schedule, the passage of time and his continued desire to learn, saying he remains committed to growing through his professional journey.
In his latest blog post, the 83-year-old actor described his current routine as intensely packed, leaving little room for rest, food and other aspects of daily life.
“Work is relentless .. time is mapped out in 24 .. rest, food etc., is by passed,” Bachchan wrote.
The veteran actor also acknowledged that his blog continues to remain an important part of his life, while apologising to readers for the brevity of his recent posts. He said that although the writing may have been minimal, the emotions behind it were not.
“This Ef Blog remains a mainstay .. regret the minimalist texts, but the heart in NOT minimalistic,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the passage of time, Bachchan said that growing older has made him increasingly aware of how much there is still to learn.
“As time passes you discover how little you know .. and the desire to know increases,” he wrote.
He further explained that his approach to work is not limited to fulfilling professional commitments. Instead, he sees every opportunity as a chance to acquire knowledge, challenge himself and put what he learns to practical use.
“I am at work to learn more .. to push to, to gather, to assimilate .. and put to good use,” Bachchan said.
He signed off the reflective post with a simple “Love”.
Bachchan has maintained a strong connection with his fans through his personal blog, regularly sharing observations on work, life, family, cinema and his interactions with admirers.
The actor has also spoken about several personal experiences during his appearances on Kaun Banega Crorepati, including being subjected to comments about his height during his early years in the Hindi film industry and being asked to leave a film set after arriving late.
