Actress Rashmika Mandanna has spoken about the importance of self-belief, hard work and embracing opportunities, saying her own journey has taught her how much it takes to keep moving forward even when the destination is uncertain.
“Every journey begins with an opportunity and the courage to take that first step. When I look back at my own journey, I know how much it takes to keep believing in yourself, working hard and saying yes to possibilities that can take you somewhere you may never have imagined,” Rashmika said in a statement.
The actress has partnered with HYBE India for its auditions, an initiative aimed at discovering, nurturing and developing talent from across the country with the potential to connect with global audiences.
Rashmika described the initiative as a first-of-its-kind opportunity in India and said she was excited to be part of the journey.
“Honestly, I think this is a first-of-its-kind opportunity in India, and I’m incredibly excited to be partnering with HYBE INDIA on this journey. HYBE is a name known across the world for creating some of the biggest artists and global voices, and the fact that they are looking to India to discover young talent is really exciting,” she said.
She encouraged young women across the country who aspire to become artists, performers and role models to make the most of the opportunity.
“There are so many young girls across the country who dream of becoming artists, performers and role models, and I hope they make the most of this opportunity. I hope every girl who has a dream gives herself that chance,” Rashmika added.
HYBE is known for launching and managing major K-pop acts through its various labels, including BTS, TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans and ILLIT.
On the film front, Rashmika was last seen in Homi Adajania’s ‘Cocktail 2’, co-written by Luv Ranjan and starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon alongside her.
She will next feature in ‘Ranabaali’, set in 1870s South India. The film follows a rebellious warrior who confronts a British commissioner while fighting to protect his region and its people.
