Singer Nitin Mukesh remembered legendary singer Asha Bhosle on her 93rd birth anniversary on Tuesday by sharing a throwback video of her singing the popular song Tu Tu Hai Wahi Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha.
In the old clip shared by Nitin Mukesh on Instagram, Asha Bhosle can be seen singing the track during a musical session, while his son and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh sits near her feet and enjoys the performance.
Remembering Asha Bhosle on her birthday, Nitin Mukesh shared an emotional message, writing, “PUJYA ASHATAI…. SACH MEIN , JEENA TERE BIN HAI SAZAA… YEH DUNIYA AAPKO KABHI NAA BHOOL PAYEGI…(sic)”
Several prominent names from the music industry also paid tribute to the late singer on her birth anniversary.
Singer Kumar Sanu reflected on Asha Bhosle’s immense contribution to music, describing her as an artist who left behind an enduring legacy.
“Today, on Asha Ji’s birthday, I find myself remembering not just the legendary voice the world knew, but the beautiful person behind it. There are some artists who leave behind songs, and then there are those who leave behind an entire legacy. Asha Ji was truly one of them. Her voice brought life to countless emotions and will continue to live on in our hearts and in the music she gifted to generations,” he wrote.
Kumar Sanu added that he felt fortunate to have shared the same musical journey with Asha Bhosle and said her presence would be deeply missed, while her music would continue to live on.
Veteran singer Sudesh Bhosale also remembered her, writing, “Missing you every second, Asha Aai. On your 93rd Birth Anniversary, your blessings and guidance are my strength. Love you forever.”
Asha Bhosle passed away in Mumbai on April 12, 2026, at the age of 92.
During a career spanning more than eight decades, Asha Bhosle lent her voice to thousands of songs in multiple languages and became one of the most celebrated voices in Indian music.
