Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has called comedian and actor Kapil Sharma an “absolute star” following a fun exchange between the two on social media on Saturday.
Kareena, popularly known as Bebo, appeared on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show alongside her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan.
Kapil took to his official Instagram Stories to share a selfie featuring Kareena, Saif and the rest of the show’s crew. He admitted that he had never imagined having so much fun with the celebrity couple.
“Dear @kareenakapoorkhan n @saifalikhanpataudi never knew you guys n so much fun together…thank you for the beautiful fun episode…Love you both (sic),” Kapil wrote alongside the picture.
Resharing the post on her official account, Kareena expressed her admiration for the comedian, writing, “Kapil you are an absolute star and we love you lots too (sic).”
The episode also featured several entertaining revelations from Kareena and Saif about their relationship and family life.
Kareena revealed that Saif proposed to her three times — in Mumbai, Greece and Paris — before she finally agreed to marry him.
“He proposed to me in Mumbai, he proposed to me in Greece and he proposed to me in Paris, and that’s when I finally said ‘Yes’,” she said.
Saif responded with his characteristic humour, saying, “If you had just said yes in Mumbai, I would have saved a lot of money.”
During the conversation, the couple was also asked about their secret to looking “young and fresh” even after 14 years of marriage. Saif credited their regular consumption of desi ghee for their youthful appearance.
Kareena added that ghee is a staple in their household and that their children, Taimur and Jeh, also consume it regularly.
Sharing another amusing detail, Saif said, “She doesn’t only eat it but even rub it on her feet at night.”
Agreeing with him, Kareena added, “It helps you so well.”
The candid exchange offered viewers a glimpse into the couple’s playful relationship, while their warm interaction with Kapil added to the episode’s light-hearted appeal.
