The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has appreciated Aadhar Housing Finance Limited for supporting its religious and humanitarian initiatives, including facilities for Amrit Sanchar programmes and educational assistance for schoolchildren.
DSGMC president S. Harmeet Singh Kalka and general secretary S. Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said the committee was committed to providing transparent services to the sangat while upholding the Sikh Gurus’ teachings of selfless service and welfare for all.
The two leaders said these efforts had strengthened the community’s trust and encouraged devotees to contribute a portion of their earnings as dasvandh towards the service of the Guru Ghar.
They said Aadhar Housing Finance CEO Rishi Anand had donated a Winger vehicle to facilitate Amrit Sanchar programmes. The vehicle will help Sikh representatives travel to different locations to conduct the religious ceremonies, extending their reach to the community.
Kalka and Kahlon also recalled that a Mahindra Bolero had earlier been provided for the service of the Panj Pyare. They described the contributions as a reflection of devotion to Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
The DSGMC leaders thanked Anand, Jaspal Singh and the entire Aadhar Housing Finance team for their support, expressing hope that the initiatives would encourage greater participation in community service.
They also highlighted the company’s educational assistance initiative, under which around 400 school bags have been prepared for students from Classes I to XII. The bags include geometry boxes and other essential stationery items.
Eligible families can collect the supplies from the education counter at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the leaders said.
They added that helping children access essential educational materials was an important step towards building a brighter future and promoting compassion, solidarity and social responsibility.
