The Punjab Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of several IPS and PPS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds.
Sartaj Singh Chahal (IPS 2015), serving as SSP Sangrur, has been transferred as SSP Moga in place of Ajay Gandhi.
Ravjot Grewal (IPS 2015), serving as Joint Director (Administration), Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, SAS Nagar, has been posted as SSP Sangrur in place of Sartaj Singh Chahal.
Ajay Gandhi (IPS 2018), serving as SSP Moga, has been transferred as AIG, Provisioning, Punjab, Chandigarh against a vacant post.
Gagan Ajit Singh (PPS), serving as SSP Malerkotla, has been transferred as SSP Fazilka in place of Gurmit Singh.
Gurmit Singh (PPS), serving as SSP Fazilka, has been posted as SSP Malerkotla in place of Gagan Ajit Singh.
Sukhnaz Singh (PPS), who was under transfer as SP ANTF, Punjab, SAS Nagar, has had his services placed at the disposal of the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab.
The government has directed all officers concerned to join their new assignments immediately.
