The Chhattisgarh government has transferred 24 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers in a major reshuffle of the Forest and Climate Change Department, with new postings ordered across forest divisions, tiger reserves and departmental bodies.
The order, issued by the Forest and Climate Change Department from Mahanadi Bhawan in Naya Raipur, said the postings would remain effective until further orders.
Ganveer Dhammashil, shifted from Baloda Bazar, has been appointed Special Secretary in the Forest and Climate Change Department. Uttam Kumar Gupta has been given charge as Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) of the Indravati Tiger Reserve.
Duleshwar Prasad Sahu has been posted to the Manendragarh Forest Division, while Pankaj Rajput has been appointed Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), Raipur. Prabhakar Khalkho will serve as In-charge Conservator of Forests, Sarguja Working Plan Division.
Sanjiv Bala has been transferred from Indravati Tiger Reserve to East Manendragarh, while Mayank Pandey has been moved from Hasamund to Gariaband. Satyadev Sharma has been transferred from the Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corporation (CSFDC) and posted as DFO, Dhamtari.
Other transfers include Omprakash Sundi to Mahasamund, Jitendra Kumar Upadhyay to Katchora and Sanjay Yadav from the CSFDC to Kharagarh. Kumar Nishant has been posted to Marwahi, while Pankaj Kumar Kamal has returned from the CSFDC office in Naya Raipur to Baloda Bazar.
Pushplata Tandan has been appointed DFO, Sarguja-Bilaspur, while Loknath Patel has been posted to Sarguja Ambikapur and Shashinandan K to Kanker. Abhishek Sogawat has been appointed General Manager of the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation, Naya Raipur. Ranak Goyal has been posted to the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force.
Greeshmi Chand has been transferred to the State Forest Development Corporation, while Chandrashekhar Shakar Singh Pardeshi has been posted as DFO, Koriya. Dipesh Kapil has been moved to Bastar, Jagdalpur, and Chandra Kumar Agarwal to Durg. Krishan Jain has been posted to the State Forest Development Corporation and Vipul Agarwal to Surajpur.
The reshuffle covers IFS officers from the 2013 to 2022 batches and is aimed at strengthening administrative arrangements across forest divisions, tiger reserves and various departmental and corporate wings.
