Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malerkotla Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh, PPS, has suspended Jodepul police post in-charge ASI Gurjant Singh (No. 2521/Sangrur) and ASI Bhinder Singh (No. 2512/Sangrur) with immediate effect for dereliction of duty.
The SSP said negligence in the discharge of official duties would not be tolerated under any circumstances in Malerkotla district. He directed all police officers and personnel to perform their responsibilities with complete integrity, dedication and accountability.
Khakh reiterated that strict departmental action would continue to be taken against any police official found negligent in the performance of duty.
