Actress Kashmera Shah has expressed disillusionment over relationships and infidelity, questioning whether “true love” still exists amid the ongoing public spat between her husband Krushna Abhishek’s uncle Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja.
Kashmera shared a picture of a heart-shaped trail in the sky on social media early Monday, accompanying it with a candid reflection on lasting love and marriage.
“So is this what true love looks like? Does it exist? Does anyone love someone so much that they will pay for this and make their person feel special? Where is this kind of love and who is this person? Feeling so disillusioned by marriages breaking and people cheating. I feel I need a reality check,” she wrote, adding hashtags related to love.
Her post comes as Govinda and Sunita’s relationship has once again become a subject of public discussion, with both making contrasting remarks about their marriage.
Sunita has spoken publicly about alleged infidelity, including claims that Govinda has been involved with other women. Recently, while speaking to paparazzi, she referred to Govinda as the “sugar daddy” of a new heroine and alleged that he was having an affair with her.
Govinda subsequently shared a video in which he appeared to respond to the allegations, urging Sunita to refrain from making abusive remarks and exercise restraint in her choice of words.
He also argued that being paired opposite a younger actress did not imply an affair, pointing out that Bollywood has a long history of older male stars working alongside significantly younger actresses.
Govinda further suggested that Sunita was repeatedly attempting to damage his image among his fans.
Kashmera’s comments are also notable because she and Sunita had recently ended their longstanding feud. The two had remained estranged for years before reconciling a few months ago and publicly putting their differences aside.
