Delhi Police on Saturday dismissed as false reports circulating on social media claiming that food delivery app services have been banned across the New Delhi area.
In an official statement posted on X, Delhi Police said no such restriction has been imposed and described the claim as completely false, baseless and misleading.
The police urged citizens not to believe or circulate unverified information and advised the public to rely only on official sources for accurate and authentic updates.
The clarification comes amid the circulation of misleading posts on social media regarding restrictions on food delivery services in the national capital.
