Punjab Transfers: Two IAS Officers Transferred

The Punjab Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of two IAS officers with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel (IAS Branch) with the approval of the Governor of Punjab, the following changes have been made:

• B. Srinivasan, IAS (2011), who was serving as Managing Director, PUNSUP, has been assigned the additional charge of Director, Mines & Geology, replacing Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS. He will continue as Managing Director, PUNSUP.
• Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS (2015), who was serving as Director, Mines & Geology and also holding the additional charge of Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), has been relieved from his present posting. His services have been placed at the disposal of the Department of New and Renewable Energy Sources for posting as Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA).

The order, issued by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha, directs both officers to assume charge of their new assignments immediately.
