IAS officer Sibin C. (2005) has been relieved of his charge as Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, following the appointment of Anindita Mitra as the new CEO.
According to the official order issued by the Punjab Government, separate posting orders for Sibin C. will be issued later. The decision forms part of a wider administrative reshuffle of senior IAS officers in the state.
The transition has been carried out in coordination with the Election Commission of India.
