Ms Lovepreet Kaur, an Integrated M.Sc. (Hons.) scholar, Department of Biochemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the second position in oral presentation for her paper entitled “Variation in Acetylcholinesterase, Polyphenol oxidase, Glutathione S-transferase and Carboxylesterase activities of Spodoptera frugiperda larvae when fed on Teosinte and derived lines”.
She participated in two-day International Conference on “Recent Trends in Advancement of Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock and Allied Sciences (RTAAAS-2024),” held at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun (ICAR accredited), on November 21 and 22, 2024 through online mode.
In her M.Sc. programme, she has worked on “Evaluation of biochemical interactions between maize and fall armyworm” under the guidance of her major advisor Dr Kamaljit Kaur, Biochemist, Department of Biochemistry, PAU.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Kiran Bains, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; and Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Principal Biochemist-cum-Head, congratulated the student for her achievement.
