The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that nine Pakistani security personnel were killed in separate attacks carried out by its newly formed female unit, the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD), in Balochistan.

According to a statement by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, six personnel were killed and several others injured when KAAD fighters attacked a three-vehicle Quick Response Force convoy on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) highway in Jusak near Turbat on September 22.

The spokesperson claimed that the BLF’s Qurban unit supported the operation and helped repel an attempt by Pakistani forces to encircle the attackers. Several military vehicles were also allegedly damaged, while Qurban unit fighter Chakar Murad, alias Dileep Jan, was killed, the statement said.

Gwahram Baloch further claimed that KAAD fighters established blockades at three points on the Quetta-Karachi highway in Manguchar tehsil of Kalat district. He said two Pakistani military personnel were killed when forces approaching from Manguchar bazaar were attacked.

The BLF claimed that another exchange of fire followed an attempt by Pakistani forces to encircle the fighters, in which another security personnel was killed and several others were injured.

Separately, the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) claimed responsibility for an attack on a Mari Energies Limited site in the Beh Loti area of Dera Bugti. According to the group’s statement, three company employees were killed and several others injured in the attack involving rockets and heavy weapons.

The BRA also claimed that nine Pakistani military personnel and three members of a local armed group were killed in a subsequent clash. These casualty claims could not be independently verified.

Meanwhile, the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) claimed that its fighters took control of Haji Shehr and destroyed a police station with explosives. The group also claimed that BRA fighters entered Eri Shehr, took control of government buildings and later withdrew.

The claims come amid heightened militant activity in Balochistan and intensified security operations. Pakistan’s military said on September 25 that 33 militants had been killed in counter-terrorism operations in the province since September 21.
