Actress Mugdha Veira Godse has spoken about her deep spiritual connection with Lord Krishna, describing spirituality as a personal journey that goes beyond simply being religious.
On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, the ‘Fashion’ actress shared how spirituality has become an important part of her life and spoke about the guidance she has received from her spiritual master, Shri Tarneiv Ji.
Godse has been exploring her spiritual side under the guidance of Shri Tarneiv Ji and sings Krishna bhajans as part of her initiative, ‘Krsna Vandana: 108 Names & Qualities of Lord Krishna’, which she describes as a divine blessing.
Sharing her perspective on spirituality and her devotion to Lord Krishna, Godse said, “Spirituality is connecting with the Divine who resides within you & loving Him, with whatever that we have.”
She added that the guidance of her spiritual master has helped her learn more about Lord Krishna and understand how even small efforts can help people experience the Divine in their everyday lives.
“Under the guidance and mercy of my spiritual master, Shri Tarneiv Ji, I am learning so much about the Lord, and how with small efforts we all can experience Him around us & understand our life’s purpose in this process,” she said.
The actress also emphasised that spirituality and her professional life are not necessarily separate, saying, “Glamour and spirituality can go hand in hand.”
Speaking about Krishna Janmashtami, Godse said the festival holds special significance for her and that she looks forward to marking the occasion by singing devotional bhajans.
“Krishna Janmasthami is a big day for us. I personally look forward to singing some devotional bhajans for my Lord,” she said.
Reflecting on her journey, Godse credited the blessings of her spiritual master and the grace of Lord Krishna for where she is today.
“When I see where I am today, it is only because of my spiritual master’s blessings and the immense grace of Lord Krishna. This is not just any day, but a very very special day,” she said, while extending her wishes for a divine and blessed Krishna Janmashtami.
