Actor and producer Dulquer Salmaan took a break from his busy promotional schedule for his recently released film I’m Game to wish his wife, Amaal Sufiya, on her birthday.
Dulquer shared a playful birthday message on social media, joking that Amaal may have wondered whether he would remember her special day amid the film’s release and promotions. He then wished his wife a happy birthday, affectionately referring to her as his “Queen” and celebrating the years they have spent together.
The actor also said he continues to enjoy making Amaal laugh and capturing her smiles, adding a personal touch to the birthday tribute.
Meanwhile, I’m Game has opened to positive reviews following its worldwide release on September 3. The film was initially scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 20 but was postponed to facilitate a wider theatrical rollout.
Announcing the revised release date, Dulquer had said the delay was intended to give the film a larger scale and reach, with the movie releasing simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, I’m Game marks Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema. The film was shot over an extensive 11-month schedule spanning 156 days and more than 100 locations across South India.
The ensemble cast includes Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music, while Anbariv Masters have choreographed the action sequences.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under Wayfarer Films, the film has been mounted on an ambitious scale for a multilingual theatrical release.
