Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa shared a reflective note on unfulfilled wishes and faith, suggesting that moments of longing can bring people closer to God.
Taking to Instagram, the actress, who was recently seen in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, wrote, “Khwahish adhuri ho toh rab kitna yaad aata hai,” which translates to, “When a wish remains unfulfilled, how much one remembers God.”
Alongside the thought-provoking message, Sonam shared pictures of herself dressed in a traditional white suit. She paired the outfit with green bangles and matching earrings, completing the look with subtle makeup, nude lipstick and open hair.
Sonam has established herself as a prominent name in the Punjabi film industry. She made her acting debut with Best of Luck in 2013 alongside Gippy Grewal and Jazzy B. In 2014, she appeared in Punjab 1984 opposite Diljit Dosanjh and also ventured into Tamil cinema with Kappal, starring alongside Vaibhav Reddy.
Her notable Punjabi films include Guddiyan Patole, Carry On Jatta 3, Nikka Zaildar, Honsla Rakh and Ardab Mutiyaran. She has also expanded her presence in Hindi cinema with films including Housefull 5 and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.
Sonam was last seen on the big screen in Anurag Singh’s Hindi war drama Border 2, where she starred alongside Diljit Dosanjh. The film featured Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty in key roles, along with Mona Singh, Medha Rana and Anya Singh.
