The Punjab Government has posted IPS officer Vaibhav Choudhary as Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa.
Choudhary, a 2020-batch direct-recruit IPS officer, was presently serving as Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Patiala.
The new assignment places him in charge of Mansa district as SSP.
He replaces IPS officer Bhagirath Singh Meena, who has been transferred from Mansa and posted as AIG, Personnel-1, at the Central Police Office, Punjab.
Choudhary’s elevation from SP Headquarters, Patiala, to district police chief in Mansa comes as part of the Punjab Government’s latest reshuffle involving eight IPS officers.
The government has directed Choudhary to assume his new assignment immediately.
