Arjun Bijlani on Balancing Work and Family: ‘Every Profession Comes With Compromises’

Mumbai, September 4, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Actor Arjun Bijlani has opened up about balancing his demanding professional commitments with family life, acknowledging that every career involves compromises but stressing the importance of making time for loved ones.

Reflecting on his approach to maintaining a work-life balance, the ‘Naagin’ actor said there are occasions when professional commitments lead to missing personal moments, but he considers himself fortunate to be pursuing work he enjoys.

“I think every profession comes with compromises. There are times when you miss personal moments, but I feel lucky to do what I love. It is about finding the right balance,” Bijlani said.

The actor admitted that managing work and family can be a constant juggle, particularly when he is shooting. However, he said he makes an effort to spend time with his family and remain connected to the festive spirit even when work keeps him away from home.

“It is definitely a juggle, but I feel it is all about finding a balance. Even if I am working, I try to make some time for my family and enjoy the festive spirit wherever I am,” he added.

Bijlani said his professional commitments have sometimes resulted in him missing important family occasions. He credited his family for understanding the demands of his career and supporting him through his busy schedule.

“Sometimes, yes. But my family understands my work and is very supportive. Whenever I get the opportunity, I make sure I spend quality time with them,” he said.

The actor also spoke about celebrating festivals while working on sets, saying that being away from home does not necessarily diminish the joy and spirit of the occasion.

“For me, festivals are about love, gratitude, and togetherness. Even when I am shooting, I try to celebrate with the people around me and keep that festive energy alive,” Bijlani said.

Recalling his experiences of celebrating festivals with co-stars and crew members, he said such occasions often create memorable moments on set.

“Yes, many times. Celebrating festivals on set with the cast and crew is always special. You share sweets, dress up and create beautiful memories together,” he said.

Bijlani added that while acting remains an important part of his life, his family continues to provide him with a sense of stability.

“Work is a big part of my life, but family keeps me grounded. I always try to make time for them, especially during festivals,” he said.

On the work front, Bijlani will next be seen in ‘Chumbak’, which is slated to premiere on Netflix.
