The Punjab Government has transferred Bathinda SSP Jyoti Yadav and posted her as Commandant of the 82nd Battalion, Punjab Armed Police (PAP), Chandigarh.
Yadav is a 2019-batch direct-recruit IPS officer.
She will replace PPS officer Balwinder Singh as Commandant of the 82nd Battalion.
Following Yadav’s transfer, IPS officer Suhail Qasim Mir has been posted as the new SSP Bathinda. Mir was serving as AIG, Personnel-1, at the Central Police Office, Punjab.
Yadav’s transfer is part of the state government’s latest reshuffle involving eight IPS officers across district, commissionerate, range and headquarters assignments.
The posting order has been made effective immediately.
