The Punjab Government on Thursday issued orders for the transfer and posting of three IAS and PCS officers with immediate effect.
According to the official notification, Akshita Gupta (IAS: 2021), who was serving as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Phagwara, has been appointed as Director, Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Punjab, replacing Vimal Kumar Setia (IAS: 2010).
In another order, Gurmeet Kaur Ball (PCS: 2020), currently posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kapurthala, has been given additional charge as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Phagwara, in place of Akshita Gupta. She will continue to hold her existing position at Kapurthala.
Meanwhile, Deepankar Garg (PCS: 2020) has been posted as Deputy Secretary, General Administration and Coordination, and will also continue to hold additional charge as Managing Director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Limited, along with additional charge of Deputy Secretary, Information and Public Relations.
The orders, issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Punjab, direct all concerned officers to assume charge of their new postings immediately.
