Actor Mohit Sehgal, best known for his role in the popular television show Miley Jab Hum Tum, has shared an emotional tribute to his mother on her 70th birthday, reflecting on the loss of his father and the importance of cherishing time with loved ones.
Mohit marked the occasion by sharing a heartfelt video on Instagram, featuring family photographs and memories. He explained that the birthday celebrations were particularly meaningful this year, as his mother was still coping with the loss of her husband.
In his note, the actor said he wanted his mother to spend the day surrounded by people who love her, creating happy memories despite the difficult phase the family has been going through.
Looking back at photographs of his parents and moments shared together as a family, Mohit reflected on how quickly time passes and how ordinary moments — conversations, festivals and time spent together — often become the most precious memories.

Mohit’s father, Vinod Sehgal, passed away on March 26, 2025. The actor had announced his father’s death through an emotional Instagram post featuring a photograph of himself holding his father’s hand, accompanied by the words, “Miss you papa.”
