Diksha Dagar Stays in Top-15 Contention After Steady Third-Round 70 at Women’s Scottish Open

India’s Diksha Dagar remained in contention for a strong finish at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open after producing a composed two-under 70 in the third round at Dundonald Links on Saturday.

The Hero-backed golfer moved into a share of 11th place at one-over-par, keeping herself within reach of a top-10 finish ahead of the final round of the Ladies European Tour event.

Facing difficult links conditions featuring strong winds, spells of rain and changing weather, Diksha displayed the consistency that has been a feature of her 2026 season.

The two-time Ladies European Tour winner began her round with three consecutive pars before opening her birdie account on the fourth hole. A bogey on the ninth saw her make the turn at level par, but she responded strongly on the back nine.

Diksha gained momentum with back-to-back birdies on the 13th and 14th holes before safely navigating the closing stretch with four straight pars. A late birdie opportunity on the 18th narrowly missed, but her 70 helped her climb the leaderboard with one round remaining.

The Indian golfer’s performance continues a consistent run this season, with Diksha among the notable performers on the Ladies European Tour and once again competing for a high finish.

India’s other participants, Avani Prashanth and Pranavi Urs, failed to qualify for the weekend after missing the cut following the second round.

At the top of the leaderboard, South Korea’s Jenny Shin maintained her advantage despite shooting a one-under 71 in the third round. Shin leads the tournament at 12-under and carries a five-shot advantage into the final round.

Thailand’s Pajaree Anannarukarn is second at seven-under after a three-under 69, while Japan’s Erika Hara and Germany’s Esther Henseleit share third position at five-under.

Diksha will look to build on her strong showing in the final round as she aims for another top-10 finish before heading into next week’s AIG Women’s Open, the season’s final major championship.
