Actor and content creator Aarush Bhola believes imperfections are an important part of what makes a person attractive, saying excessive pursuit of physical perfection can take away from natural beauty.
Aarush, who features in the recently released fifth season of gaming reality show ‘Playground’, shared his views while speaking to IANS during the show’s promotional event in Mumbai alongside fellow mentors Elvish Yadav and Tejasswi Prakash.
Discussing the integration of artificial intelligence into the show, Aarush spoke about how digitally altered images can highlight the limitations of perfectly symmetrical features. He said that even minor differences in facial features can contribute to a person’s appeal, adding that people do not necessarily need cosmetic procedures to achieve an idealised appearance.
“If there is a lot of perfection, it becomes useless,” Aarush said, stressing that natural imperfections can make a face look more appealing.
The actor also highlighted what he sees as a key strength of ‘Playground 5’ — its competitive environment without excessive negativity or personal attacks. He said the show combines competition with entertainment, strategy and teamwork, while contestants avoid crossing personal boundaries.
According to Aarush, the latest season is designed for a younger, digitally connected audience and provides opportunities for influencers, gamers and emerging creators to showcase themselves. He described it as an updated take on the reality-show format, with a greater focus on personality and positive competition.
‘Playground’ combines gaming, entertainment, competition and influencer culture, bringing together young creators, gamers and internet personalities for challenges involving strategy, teamwork and rivalries.
‘Playground 5’ is streaming on Amazon MX Player.
