Actor Rohit Bose Roy recently shared a candid photograph with superstar Salman Khan, offering fans a glimpse into the warm and affectionate bond they share.
In the picture, Rohit is seen standing behind Salman and wrapping his arms around the actor as they pose for the camera. Sharing the photograph on social media, Rohit said Salman himself gives him the liberty to share such affectionate moments publicly.
Rohit described Salman as someone whose affection is reserved for people close to him and said he remains grateful for the love and support he has received from the superstar.
He also revealed that he has several stories about Salman that he plans to share in his book, while choosing to keep them private for now.
Rohit has previously spoken about knowing Salman since his teenage years and credited him with supporting him at several points in his life. In an earlier interview, he recalled how Salman encouraged him to focus on fitness when he was frustrated with his career.
Rohit began his acting career in the 1990s and became a familiar television face with the popular series Swabhimaan, in which he played Rishabh Malhotra. He later appeared in films including Kaante, LOC Kargil, Plan, Dus Kahaniyaan, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Fashion, Paltan, Kaabil, Mumbai Saga, Forensic, IRaH and Controll.
Meanwhile, Salman is awaiting the release of Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh. The film, earlier announced as Battle of Galwan, is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash and explores themes of sacrifice, humanity and the emotional cost of conflict.
Salman has also moved ahead with his next project with director Vamshi Paidipally, which is expected to target an Eid 2027 release.
