IndiGo’s website and online services faced another technical disruption on Friday, with several passengers reporting problems while booking flights, completing web check-ins and accessing other digital services. Some users also said they were unable to log into the airline’s mobile application.
The airline acknowledged the disruption in a service advisory, saying it was experiencing intermittent problems with its core reservation platform.
“We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our core reservation platform, which may make it difficult for some customers to access our online services,” IndiGo said.
The airline added that its teams were working with its technology partner on priority to restore the services.
During the disruption, users attempting to access flight booking services on IndiGo’s website were shown a “no data available” message. Several passengers also took to the airline’s official X account to report failed bookings, difficulties with web check-in and problems receiving payment confirmations.
IndiGo has not disclosed the specific cause of Friday’s disruption or identified the technology partner assisting with the resolution. The airline’s latest advisory also did not specify when all online services would be fully restored.
The latest outage comes just two days after IndiGo reported a similar disruption involving its core reservation system. On Wednesday, the airline had said that intermittent issues with the platform could affect customers’ access to online services.
The recurrence has raised concerns among passengers who depend on IndiGo’s digital platforms for flight reservations, check-in and payment-related services.
IndiGo is India’s largest airline by domestic market share and accounted for around 67 per cent of the country’s domestic aviation market in July. Given its extensive network and dominant market position, technical problems affecting its reservation systems can impact a large number of passengers.
