Internet personality Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, has opened up about balancing his signature glamour with the physically demanding challenges on the 15th season of stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
In a note shared on Instagram and addressed to host Rohit Shetty, Orry recalled the assumptions people had about him when he signed up for the show. He said many expected him to be “high maintenance”, turn the stunt arena into a fashion show and exit the competition within the first few episodes.
He also revealed that his stylist packed more than seven suitcases containing over 20 curated looks for his stint on the show. According to Orry, even his stylist jokingly questioned whether he would remain in the competition long enough to wear them all.
“Ten episodes down, 50% of the season conquered, and every single outfit accounted for. Yes, I brought the glamour. Yes, I served the looks. But more than that, I showed up at every stunt, faced the fear, took the bruises, and didn’t complain,” Orry wrote.
He added that he never wanted to choose between being glamorous and being tough, saying he wanted to prove that both could coexist.
Thanking Rohit Shetty for appreciating his fashion choices while respecting his determination during the stunts, Orry wrote that wearing designer clothes at a party was “safe”, but bringing high glamour and drama into the stunt arena was different.
Orry also shared a series of photographs and videos from his time on the show, offering glimpses of his outfits, luxury bags and playful interactions with Shetty. In one of the moments, the host appeared surprised by Orry’s collection of luxury bags.
Orry was recently evicted from the 15th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
