Kejriwal Alleges PM ‘Shielding’ NEET Paper Leak Mastermind, Raises Uttarakhand Leak Issue

New Delhi, July 23, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday questioned the Centre over reports of another examination paper leak in Uttarakhand and alleged that the Modi government had failed to take effective action against those responsible for the 2024 NEET paper leak.

In a post on X, Kejriwal wrote, “Now paper leaks have surfaced in Uttarakhand as well. Prime Minister, when will they stop?”

Referring to the 2024 NEET paper leak case, Kejriwal alleged that the alleged mastermind had now received a clean chit from the CBI. He further claimed that the investigating agency had earlier failed to file the chargesheet within the prescribed time, allowing the accused to secure bail.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been completely exposed. The NEET paper was leaked in 2024. The Modi Government arrested this person, calling him the mastermind. Then the CBI deliberately failed to file the chargesheet on time, resulting in him getting automatic bail within three months,” Kejriwal alleged.

He further claimed that the CBI had now given the accused a clean chit and alleged that paper leaks would continue because the government’s intentions were “dishonest.”

Kejriwal Praises Student Protesters

Kejriwal also praised students participating in the ongoing protests over alleged examination irregularities, saying their courage had inspired the country.

“I salute Gen Z and the youth of our country. The way all of you faced the police, lathi charges and tear gas shells during this movement is no small thing. The country had fallen asleep. People had become silent and were living in fear,” he said.

Referring to videos circulating on social media, Kejriwal highlighted instances in which protesters allegedly stood before police vehicles, faced police action without retreating and helped fellow protesters avoid detention.

He claimed that the determination shown by the youth had awakened the country.

Sisodia Targets Prime Minister

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP’s Punjab In-charge Manish Sisodia also criticised the Centre over the issue.

“Had the head of the government spoken, all the ‘Pradhans’ would have been exposed. The Prime Minister wanted to protect the Education Minister, and to protect him, it was necessary for the head to protect himself,” Sisodia alleged.

The BJP and the Central Government had not immediately responded to the allegations made by the AAP leaders.
