Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared a glimpse of her workout routine during pregnancy, offering fans an insight into how she has adapted her fitness regimen while learning to listen more closely to her body.
Sharing photographs and videos from the gym, the Oo Antava actress explained that she has been strength training for years and has continued exercising during pregnancy after receiving clearance from her doctor.
Samantha also said her trainer is certified in prenatal training and that her exercises have been modified based on her body, previous training experience and stage of pregnancy.
“A little disclaimer: I’ve strength trained for years and have continued through pregnancy with my doctor’s clearance. My trainer is also certified in prenatal training, and everything you see here is modified for my body, my experience, and my pregnancy,” she wrote.
She cautioned others against treating her routine as a template for exercising during pregnancy, stressing that every pregnancy is different.
“Every pregnancy is different, so please don’t use my workouts as a guide for yours. Speak to your doctor and work with someone qualified before exercising during pregnancy,” Samantha added.
The actress used the images to reflect on how her approach to fitness has changed. One video shows her performing a chest exercise, accompanied by the message: “Training looks a little different these days. Less about pushing harder. More about listening better.”
Another image carried the words, “When you stop at 70 percent of your max,” followed by, “Some days I feel strong. Some days I modify.”
In another photograph, Samantha is seen lying on the gym floor with the caption, “Some days the workout is mostly lying on the floor.”
Reflecting on the shift in her fitness goals, she wrote, “I have spent years training my body to do more. Now I am learning to respect it when it asks me to do less.”
The final image summed up her perspective on pregnancy, stating, “Goals are different when you are growing a tiny human, and I think that might be the strongest thing this body has ever done.”
Samantha made her pregnancy public in June 2026, confirming that she and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru are preparing to welcome their first child.
