Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has embraced a vibrant new avatar for the 18th season of the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, featuring in the rap track ‘Sochna Padgea’.
In the song’s video, Bachchan is seen sporting a striking white fur coat, oversized dark sunglasses, layered gold chains and a geometric hoodie. The veteran actor exudes confidence as he walks through illuminated corridors before taking his place on a chandelier-lit throne.
Bachchan delivers a powerful message in the track: “Yeh KBC hai, yahan sochna padega pyaro’n”, reinforcing the season’s focus on intelligence and quick thinking.
The rap song has been conceptualised around the theme of applied intelligence, highlighting that while information is readily available at people’s fingertips, the ability to think quickly and apply knowledge remains the key to success.
The latest episode of the show features Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
A promo released earlier showed Bachchan sharing a light-hearted exchange with Sunny over the actor’s debut appearance on the show. Bachchan asked Sunny why he had waited until the 18th season to join ‘KBC’.
“I was very scared of the show. I had to think,” Sunny replied.
Aamir, who has appeared on the show several times, then joked that he had visited ‘KBC’ six or seven times, prompting Sunny to quip, “He doesn’t think, I do.”
Aamir and Sunny appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film ‘Batwara 1947’, which stars Sunny in the lead alongside Shabana Azmi, Preity G Zinta, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh.
The film is reportedly inspired by Asghar Wajahat’s play ‘Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya, O Jamya E Nai’.
