Ludhiana Lions, led by India pacer Arshdeep Singh, unveiled their new jersey, official mascot ‘Sher Singh’ and team anthem ahead of their campaign in the inaugural Sher-e-Punjab T20 League.
The team will begin its championship campaign against Bathinda Royals on September 1.
The jersey launch event in Ludhiana showcased the team’s new colours, while the mascot ‘Sher Singh’ was presented as a symbol of the fearless and courageous approach the Lions aim to bring to the tournament.
Arshdeep Singh, the marquee player of Ludhiana Lions, said the team’s preparations had been strong and focused on developing individual skills, understanding roles and preparing for different match situations.

“Really excited for the inaugural season of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League and an honour to be part of Ludhiana Lions. The preparations have been very good so far,” Arshdeep said.
He added that the team’s focus would now be on carrying the confidence developed during training into competitive matches and putting its best effort into winning the league.
Ludhiana Lions owners Harit Agrawal and Manoj Bansal said they were confident about the team’s preparations and looked forward to the challenge presented by the inaugural season.
Mentor Hemraj Choudhary said the squad was balanced and ready for the competition after a successful auction and an extensive preparation period.
The Lions squad comprises Arshdeep Singh, Salil Arora, Krish Bhagat, Arjun Rajput, Jass Inder, Abhijeet Garg, Madhav Singh Pathania, Karteek Sharma, Kartik Chadda, Lovedeep Singh Kharod, Lovekirat Singh, Bikramjeet Singh, Harish Kumar, Taranveer Singh Randhawa, Rajveer Jaswal, Aseem Kohli, Havneet Singh, Yuvi Goyal, Sahil Bhaskar and Gurman Singh.
