New Delhi, September 20, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has questioned the Election Commission after alleging that the names of its national convenor and three-time former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family members are missing from the Delhi electoral rolls.

The party demanded an explanation from the poll panel, asking how the names of a former Chief Minister and his family members could be absent from the voter list. AAP also questioned whether the voter-list exercise was being used to remove the names of Opposition leaders.

In a post on X, AAP said, “Is everything happening in this country just to keep the Supreme Lord happy? Election Commission, how is it possible that the names of three-time Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family members are missing from the Delhi voter list?”

AAP National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda alleged that the ongoing exercise was not a genuine electoral-roll revision but a “BJP game”.

“We have been saying from day one that this is not SIR, but a BJP game. If it were up to them, they would retain only the voting rights of Modi and Amit Shah and delete the votes of all Opposition leaders,” Dhanda said.

Questioning the Election Commission, he added, “What kind of process is this, under which the names of three-time Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family members have disappeared from Delhi’s voter list?”

The AAP leaders’ remarks come amid the party’s concerns over the electoral-roll revision process and alleged discrepancies involving the names of Opposition leaders.
