The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer keys for the UGC-NET, CSIR-NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026 examinations on August 16, the agency announced.
The answer keys will be made available on the NTA’s official website, nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the examinations have been advised to keep their login credentials ready and rely only on official NTA communications for further updates.
The agency announced the schedule through its official X handle, stating that the provisional answer keys for the three examination categories would be published on August 16.
Candidates who appeared for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination will also be able to access the provisional answer key through the official UGC-NET portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Once released, the answer key will allow candidates to compare the answers they recorded during the examination with the responses considered correct by the NTA.
Candidates wishing to challenge any answer or question will be able to submit objections during the prescribed objection window, which will open after the provisional answer key is published.
To access the UGC-NET provisional answer key, candidates will need to visit the official UGC-NET portal and select the link for the UGC-NET June 2026 provisional answer key on the homepage. The answer key will then be available for download and reference.
Candidates have been advised to carefully review the questions and answers before submitting any challenge. Objections received during the designated period will be examined by subject experts, following which the final answer key will be prepared.
The NTA has advised candidates to regularly check its official portal and the respective examination websites for updates on the answer keys, objection process and result declaration.
