Television actress Surbhi Chandna has spoken about her past differences with fellow actor Tejasswi Prakash, saying their friendship goes back several years despite occasional disagreements.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, the ‘Ishqbaaaz’ actress stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy and supportive environment within the entertainment industry. She said artists should appreciate one another and work together rather than allow temporary differences to affect professional relationships.
“We talk so much about the industry, healthy environment, healthy industry, and work ethics, I feel everyone should work in tandem. We should be appreciative of each other,” Surbhi said.
She pointed to her production debut, ‘Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam’, as an example, saying several of her former co-stars were part of the project. According to her, she reached out to old friends personally and invited them to feature in the show.
“These are friendships, these are work ethics, these are you working as an industry together,” she said.
Surbhi acknowledged that relationships can sometimes experience disagreements but said such issues can be resolved through communication.
“At times, things go a little up and down, but then you kind of meet together, and you sort it out amongst each other, and then you move ahead,” she said.
Addressing her equation with Tejasswi, Surbhi revealed that she attended Tejasswi’s birthday celebration and that Tejasswi also attended the success party of her show.
“We have each other’s numbers, and we also follow one another on Instagram. It is an old friendship,” Surbhi said, adding that they have known each other since before Tejasswi appeared in many reality shows.
Surbhi and Tejasswi had reportedly faced differences during promotions for their web series ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ in February this year. Tejasswi was allegedly unwilling to share interviews with Surbhi, following which Surbhi reportedly walked out in tears. The precise reason behind the reported disagreement has not been established.
