The Indian junior men’s hockey team departed Bengaluru on Sunday for Dalian, Liaoning, as part of its final preparations for the Junior Asia Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Moqi, China.
The team will arrive in Dalian on Monday, August 24, and undergo a series of training sessions before playing three practice matches against the China junior men’s team. The camp is aimed at providing the players with match exposure and an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for the continental tournament.
India will hold its first training session on Monday, followed by two sessions on Tuesday and further sessions on August 26 and 27. The first practice match against China is scheduled for August 28, followed by matches on August 30 and 31.
After completing the Dalian camp, the Indian team will travel to Moqi on September 1 for its final preparations ahead of the Junior Asia Cup.
