Actor and content creator Elvish Yadav has opened up about how public perception of him changed from being seen as a “bad boy” to becoming a more widely accepted personality.
Elvish, who is currently part of the fifth season of the streaming reality show ‘Playground’, spoke to IANS alongside Tejasswi Prakash and Aarush Bhola during the show’s promotional activities in Mumbai.
Reflecting on his earlier image, Elvish said a series of misunderstandings had influenced how people perceived his personality. He added that those experiences eventually taught him to accept how others viewed him.
“It was because of misunderstandings. In life, I have been always like this. People used to make fun of me in between. So that experience has taught me that this is how it is. That’s how people are looking at me,” he said.
Tejasswi, who joined the conversation, jokingly attributed the change to the people around Elvish. “Your friends have changed,” she said.
Elvish agreed, prompting Tejasswi to add that his friends had helped bring positive changes in his life.
Responding humorously, Elvish said, “Thank you Teja. She’s right. Since she came into my life, my life has changed. Earlier, people used to think I’m such a useless person. Now staying with her, they say I’m really useless. So this change has come in my life.”
‘Playground’ combines gaming, entertainment, competition and influencer culture, bringing together young creators, gamers and internet personalities. Participants compete in different challenges while navigating rivalries, friendships and team dynamics.
