No Dearth of Funds for School of Eminence at Kharar: Anmol Gagan Mann

There is no dearth of funds for the upcoming School of Eminence at Kharar and funds of Rs 1.56 Crore have already been released in the last month to resume the pending civil, electric and public health works, said MLA Anmol Gagan Mann.

Divulging the details, MLA Kharar said that the estimate to set up the school of eminence has been revised from the existing 10.94 crores to 16.84 crores to give the new building state-of-the-art look.

For this, in addition to already spent of Rs 10.94 crores, now a revised administrative approval of Rs 5.90 Crores has already been granted to the executive agency Public Works Department by the Punjab Government, she added.

She further said that as per the commitment of the Bhagwant Mann Government, the building of a new school of Eminence will be completed soon to give quality education to the students of the area.

MLA Anmol Gagan Mann said that as per the revised plan, the new building would have Modular Labs, an Athletics Track, a volleyball Court, a badminton court, signages besides the completion of other civil, electrical and Public health works.

She assured the Kharar residents of the completion of the new building of the School of Eminence at Kharar very soon so that the students of a Government School could compete with those of Private schools.
