Veteran actor Chunky Panday recently returned to Vadodara, a city he clearly enjoyed revisiting, and shared glimpses of his trip with fans on social media.
Expressing his excitement about being back in the city, Panday posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “So Happy to be Back in Baroda. I was like a Kid in a Candy Store Vadodara.”
The video features the ‘Housefull 2’ actor dressed in a multicoloured T-shirt, jeans and a turban. He is seen stepping out of his car, posing for photographs with fans and enjoying sweets during his visit.
Panday also used the song “Ishq Jalakar – Karvaan” from ‘Dhurandhar’ as the background score for the video.
The actor remains active on social media, regularly sharing moments from his personal and professional life. His posts include candid photographs, humorous moments and memories with his family, keeping his followers engaged.
On the work front, Panday most recently reprised his popular character Aakhri Pasta in ‘Housefull 5’, which released in theatres on June 6, 2025. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the comedy-thriller featured Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan among its ensemble cast.
The film later premiered on Prime Video on August 1, 2025. It was released in two versions, ‘Housefull 5A’ and ‘Housefull 5B’, featuring different climaxes.
Panday began his acting career with the 1987 multi-starrer ‘Aag Hi Aag’, starring opposite Neelam Kothari. After initially appearing in action-oriented and supporting roles through the late 1980s and 1990s, he gained wider recognition as Babban in the 1988 film ‘Tezaab’. He subsequently became particularly associated with comedy roles from the 2000s onwards.
