Actress Priyanka Chopra marked brother-in-law Joe Jonas’ birthday with a playful social media post, joking that a moment captured in a photograph was “not supposed to be funny”.
Priyanka shared a picture with Joe on her Instagram Stories in which the two appeared to be engaged in a conversation, with the singer and actor seen laughing.
Adding a humorous caption to the photograph, Priyanka wrote, “FYI, it was not supposed to be funny, @joejonas. Happiest birthday bro.”
Joe’s brother and Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, also celebrated the occasion by sharing photographs from a Pokémon-themed birthday party. The pictures showed the Jonas brothers, Priyanka and other family members enjoying the celebration, which featured Poké Ball balloons, Pokémon cards and a customised Pokémon card made specially for Joe.
“Gotta catch ’em all. We love you @joejonas happy birthday brother,” Nick wrote.
Kevin Jonas, the third member of the Jonas Brothers, also shared glimpses from the celebrations, describing it as an “Epic celebration for an epic brother” and sending his love to Joe.
Priyanka and Nick married in December 2018 after dating for some time. They held their wedding at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, with ceremonies conducted according to Hindu and Christian traditions.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, through surrogacy on January 15, 2022.
On the professional front, Priyanka is set to star in S.S. Rajamouli’s Varanasi, which features Mahesh Babu in the lead role. She will portray Mandakini, a fierce historian who accompanies Mahesh Babu’s character Rudhra on a globetrotting mission to save the holy city of Varanasi from an asteroid named Shambhavi.
