Actress Mannara Chopra has once again faced body-shaming comments on social media after sharing a dance video with her followers.
The ‘Bigg Boss 17’ fame actress posted a video of herself dancing to Aroob Khan’s popular Punjabi song ‘Gucci’. Dressed in a black structured, jacket-style outfit, Mannara is seen dancing and posing for the camera.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Why chase a label when you’re already a brand? …”
While several followers praised the actress and showered her with compliments, some users focused on her appearance and weight. One user asked, “Aap motu kyu ho rahe ho” (Why are you becoming fat?), while another commented, “Bahut moti” (Very fat).
Another social media user urged her to work out, writing, “Pls…. Go to gym & do some workout, that’s not body shaming it’s my concern for you as a fan.”
The latest comments come amid previous instances of trolling faced by Mannara over her appearance and weight. In 2025, she was subjected to similar remarks following public appearances, with some social media users commenting on her weight and asking her to lose it.
On one occasion, after she appeared in a white saree and low-cut blouse, users posted comments questioning her weight gain and urging her to take measures to address it.
Mannara gained wider recognition through her participation in ‘Bigg Boss 17’, where she finished as the second runner-up. She made her Hindi film debut with Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Zid’ in 2014 and has subsequently worked in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.
Her film credits include ‘Prema Geema Jantha Nai’, ‘Jakkanna’, ‘Thikka’, ‘Rogue’ and ‘Sita’.
