The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Union Territory Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, at Punjab Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh today.
During the meeting, a wide-ranging and constructive discussion was held on various issues concerning Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, and matters of national importance. Special emphasis was laid on effectively connecting youth from border areas with skill development programmes to enhance their employability and promote self-reliance.
Both the dignitaries underscored the importance of youth empowerment and skill development as key pillars in the journey towards a ViksatBharat@2047 and emphasized the need for sustained efforts in this direction.
