Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra celebrated her mother-in-law Usha Rani Kundra’s 75th birthday with a heartfelt social media tribute, describing her as the “youngest” and “coolest” mother-in-law she knows.
Sharing a video featuring Usha Rani Kundra on Instagram, Shilpa wrote, “Happy 75th Birthday to the youngest, coolest mom-in-law I know.”
The actress has often shared glimpses of her close bond with her family. Last month, she gave fans a peek into a special all-girls vacation involving three generations of women from her family — her mother Sunanda Shetty, sister Shamita Shetty, daughter Samisha and herself.
Sharing a series of pictures and videos from the holiday, Shilpa wrote, “Three generations. Four hearts. One unforgettable girls’ trip. Mom. Sis. Daughter. Me. The best kind of holiday… core memories unlocked.”
The vacation album featured several family moments, including a lunch outing where Samisha was seen kissing her mother on the cheek, while Sunanda and Shamita posed alongside them. Another picture showed Shilpa and Samisha sharing a playful moment, while other visuals captured the actress spending time with Shamita and enjoying scenic views from the getaway.
One video from the vacation showed Shilpa holding a white pigeon and singing “Kabutar Ja Ja” from the film Maine Pyaar Kiya before setting the bird free.
Samisha was born on February 15, 2020, through surrogacy. Shilpa and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, announced the arrival of their daughter through an emotional social media post. The couple also have a son, Viaan Raj Kundra, who was born in 2012.
Shilpa Shetty, who made her acting debut with Baazigar in 1993, has featured in films including Dhadkan, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Phir Milenge and Nikamma. She has also been a judge on several television reality shows.
